..... the passage of time with every creak of the swing, and purr of the cat. A whole scene is fumigating in my head with little to go off of. That last line is fascinating.

I am really pleased with this one. I am thrilled with your positive critique. I told you few of my haiku I thought were really any good and truly haiku, this is one of them, thank you my friend. xomo

One written the day before my trip. Such distinct images Maureen with each line, but the last puts everything within a time warp of sorts; as if the other lines happened perhaps so long ago.... Thanks always Maureen.

This was hauntingly lovely. I can feel the empty plains all around... the dust devil in the distance... I so love birds... God always remembers them, all of them... Well written... applause, by tiny elves, that can fit into this machine. Well done... Ann

Maureen, You have an unwavering eye to detail. It's thrilling to listen to Karen Carpenter while wishing for the calico' eyes to turn away. -R

Can just picture this, Maureen---precisely. When did you see our porch here in Chicago?! LOL. Very, very resonant image. Awesome! Warmest wishes, Gershon
