The Veil

I dreamt
I lifted the veil
And seen the light
And everything was alright

The secret was no longer hidden
As a girl, I played by the sea
The seven seas were open to me
And I beheld the wonders of the world

In my older years, I dreamt
I saw the silence of the final hour
Then I felt it drifting away from me
A place where we all will pass someday

It s a lovely written poem, the reality of the world is that we are made from dust and will be buried in a dust, like you I also want to experience the last hour, the coming of Jesus, because it s when I ll be sure that the religion I followed is right, Jesus is the way, the truth and the life, being a muslim I acknowledge it, coz he s second return will finish all doubts, coz muslim and Christian both believe in second coming, the Jews are waiting for Messiah, all are linked to one person

Such a lovely poetic write Debbie. The mesage is powerful. True when we are young the world is open to us and as we mature we then realize, dust to dust. You've written a masterpiece!

Something we all have to think about. Everything will be the same for us all in the end. Because of the nature of things, we have to be recycled. That is just the way it has been and will be. I suppose that our brains could be dumped into a computer--at least that is what is being talked about, but I don't see the point of that. We're stuck in this body.

Wow, this is GORGEOUS. I grew up in a church that always talked about the veil between heaven and earth. It is very significant in that church I went to. You made a beautiful poem here. FAVE

Debbie, I was saving this for next time so I would have something of yours to read. That is why I did not read it the other day. NOW let me see it!!!
