The Vast Distance Between Us

“I stand in quite solitude gazing upon the vast ocean which separates you from me my love. An ocean seemingly endless and deep yet with nare a ripple drifting , only those placed by memory of my mind. Were it indeed an ocean with many a mile of hardship and danger required it would give my spirit far greater peace than the torment in which it currently abides for bitter sting lies in reality you lay now silently at my side. How do I reach across such dark distance to hold you once again ? How do I dare undertake such a journey ? Though you are here, you are there with many a harsh day between us..... Oh that I could hold you close and once more live within your grace.....were it not for this vast distance between us ...”
