The Vanishing Seas-Earth Day

I am a slinky, shiny,
mermaid, asleep, with
my amber hair floating,
on the bottom of the sea.

So tired am I each morning
with your disposable masks,
of all colors-covering. all of me!

Many fish dying from your toxic,
designer, diaper-face, covered
human face underwear!

On Earth Day, wake up humans!
You, who cry over elephants
and dead trees?

What about us, dying here needlessly
under the aquamarine depths of the
Creator's seas?

We are a food source, or have you
forgotten?
With mindless fear of death and lies,
we are the Seas, downtrodden!

Hi Tom...I know about the plastics. There are toxins in masks nobody has yet addressed. Some known to cause lung cancer. Besides, plastics, yes, more rubbish in the sea. People breathing in toxins via masks for safety Is idiotic. I blame the farging news for that. Pangie

David, that's how it looks to me. Thank you..... Illness is not in my playbook at all. )))) CNN is not my Bible! Blood, death and fear sells! I know where to find truth. ))

Panagiota, cheers for bringing light upon an ignored abyss, and not just the sea...studies are revealing microscopic thread hooks, tipped with toxins are being inhaled thru our masks, attaching to our lungs, can't be good for sea or humankind!

James, I see you are on top of things. Congratulations to you. I won't wear masks. I prefer things delivered, as I am not, nor ever will follow orders without thinking or reading first. Others...do as you choose. Will no longer go anywhere that requires a mask. And do not want to see small kids with masks. Cheers to your brightness, James. A world full of sheep, is too much for me! Overrun by them. ugh
