The Valley of Death
Before me lies the valley
Wide as a planet
Deep as the deepest ocean
Filled with black obsidian
Glistening and as sharp as razors
Blacker than an ever seen
Not even the light of hope can enter
Crevasses flow with a brackish fog
Memories of suicides from ages past
Souls reliving their earthly torment
Their screams echo from glassy walls
Ungodly noises
Sounds of eternal pain and torture
Inflicted by a vengeful God
To revenge for a life taken
Taken while ignoring God’s will
Fearing the unseen evil
They walk through the Valley of Death
Searching for forgiveness
Forgiveness that will never come
Thus God’s will be done
