The Valiant 300

Understandably, war is addition
In military parlance, war is number
To face the enemy of 180,000
You should have at least 200,000 to defeat them.
To God, war is subtraction
He does not look on the number.
He does not look on the physical aspects.
He look at every heart of man.
Gideon has 30,000 men in battle,
Against the Midianites of 180,000.
God told Gideon that they're too many.
God instructed Gideon to the throng.
For those who have personal interest in life,
Who love their business, wants to marry,
Who love their family, friends and company,
Instructed them to go to the left side.
Almost 20,000 where declassified.
They sent home and 10,000 remain.
Forward they go, walk and march
They're so tired and rest for a while.
Then, God said, "Gideon, you're still too many".
God instructed Gideon to let them drink on the river.
Hurriedly, the 10,000 drink into the river bank
God instructed Gideon to mark every soldier,
Who disarmed their weapons and drink like a dog.
Almost 9,700 where declassified,
And put them on the left side and sent home.
They are mark as the unbelieving, the fence-sitter,
The half-hearted, the belly-button people,
The unfocused, and the fearful.
In the face of battle, they will run,
Look for food when hungry.
They will only become a liabilities after all.
In spiritual warfare, God looks at the heart
From 30,000, it reduced to 300 gallant warriors
Whose heart is fixed and mind is made up.
In the end, Gideon defeated the enemy
Of 180,000 Midianites by confusion and desperation.
