The Vacation
THE VACATION 5/5/15
Those heavenly thirty minutes,
Were but so restful to me
Lying there in your arm
Trying not to think of the harm
Taking in your sweet smell
Hoping none of us will tell.
Those beautiful thirty minutes,
Were to me an exciting getaway
Listening to that sweet voice
Knowing that it’s too late for choice
Only for a short time I have you
Then back to my home I have to.
Those lovely thirty minutes,
Were to me a complete holiday
Remembering those days gone
Before my life turned to one long drone
Many cares much a worry
Being with you, I’m not sorry.
Those amazing thirty minutes,
Were to me just pure bliss
Rediscovering senses long dead
Forgetting family waiting to be fed
Sailing through that awesome joy
Soon will be back to shore, Ahoy!
