The Used-To-Be

I truly long to find a place-
were the used-to-be, now history,
still exists in time and space.

Where childhood innocence is sublime-
and yesterdays again replay-
those precious moments lost to time.

I search in vain to find that place-
were the used-to-be, now history,
sill exists in time and space.

Why can’t I find that elusive place-
where times long past forever last-
in another time and space?

I think there is no place of used-to-be-
were yesterdays again replay-
except in one’s nostalgic memories.
