Notes About The Poem
survival.

The Unyielding

In the forrest of people
I am the Chunky tree
with long roots.
I communicate under ground-
I have curves an
I lift my face
and my hands
to the heavens,
The surrounding
trees are
slim and beautiful
yet unwavering
Still I am not
eager to become
just another
tree in the woods.
I dance seductively
when the wind blows
I bow and bend
my bough proudly
I reverence the
gusty wind.
Submission is the
only survival I know.
