The Untouchable

Wrapped in a bubble
Of inescapable sorrow
Joy out of reach
Hoping for a new day
A day all will be lost
To start life afresh
Let go of the hurt
Inflicted by one’s kindred
Blurred voices reach out to me
Wishing to save me from myself
Some live,
Others die trying
Every word uttered is pain
Because of them who hurt me
I should be vengeful
Strangely a sense of relief washes over me
As realization dawned
At noon time
Let go of the demons within
And accept help
Waging wars and thrashing thunders
Yield no success
Alas Kiara is saved by his stripes
She is healed.
