The Unraveling Mind

Have you ever wondered what people are thinking about
What’s playing on repeat in their head
Their-
World
The place where they spend all their time
Thinking a thousand thoughts per minute
Ideas, School, work, worries, Family, thoughts, friends, overthinking,
Thinking
over and over and over again.
All these things pile up rather fast
Soon everything is too fast
Quite too fast to keep track
From the outside
A new, shiny, White , Clean ,House
But what about the inside?
On the outside, everything might seem fine
But in reality, what does the inside
Look like?
Something you'll never
Know
You will never be able to
Never be able to See what someone's head looks like
Never be able to walk in their shoes
Not even for a second
You might think you understand
Understand what someone is going through
Know why they do the things they do
But do you?
Do you really ever even know someone?
Have you ever thought about that?
Have you ever thought about how much you know a person?
We all carry bags
Things we won't let go
Things that we will never forget
Some good
Some bad
Just depends
What does it mean to know someone?
How much do you really know someone?
 Everyone carries scars
The things that can’t just be washed
Washed away
Like paint on a canvas
It can be covered up
Yes!
But never gone
No matter how many times you try and get rid of it
It will always be there
Silent
We all have a time in our lives
Where we realize our words no longer have an impact
Our words no longer mean as much as they once might have
Everything
  just one big misunderstanding
And we will never really know someone
Never really know what they're going through
Never really know what they're carrying
Never really know their scars
Never really know what’s playing inside their Head!
Constantly playing.
Day in and day out
Silent from the outside
But on the inside
Always playing
Always on…never really silent.
