The Uncurtained Show of the Time Present

The flow of time passes me by, brings the present contained in the future
I make the window a kaleidoscope, before the present glides to the past.

The nascent sun colors my transient horizon, breaks the dawn
The splinters morphing into pearls of dew on my pasture
A glittering treasure the morning presents to me, I adore
Before it drifts away in time.

In the garden at the edge of my flushing meadow
The sunflowers paint glowing gold on the green foliage
The frail beauty frames the hues of the present in my mind
Before they fade away in time.

The instant smile on the face of the children of God
Flickers as the divine touch of captivating innocence
Flashes in me as the sparkle of enduring exaltation
Before it wanes away in time.

You walk on the pathway we’ve built together
Come home with the glint of timeless love in your eyes
Infusing in me the sublime sense of belonging
Before it dissipates away in time.

The gleam of twilight hour freezes on your face
In the silver silence of the falling night
The moonbeams bind our static present moments
Before they melt away in time.

The kaleidoscopic show of life’s pattern of my time present
I see uncurtained by the time future and the time past.
