The Uncertainty Paradox

I am uncertain.

Maybe?

I’m not so sure…

Perhaps I’m just embarrassed.

But what if my embarrassment is for a reason this time?

And I am actually incompetent, which is worse.

Or awkward?

Are those the same thing?

Maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about.

Even when describing myself.

I could never ask them for the truth.

Because that would make me cry.

Just like I’m doing right now.

I think I am uncertain.

And embarrassed, incompetent, and awkward as well.

Maybe I’ll always be wondering…

And that’s who I am.
