The Ultimate Test

The ultimate test of any relationship is to be able to disagree, while still holding hands. Anyone who knows Mrs. B and me can certainly tell you something about having arguments. Over the years, we have had our share of 'doozies'. We are the perfect example of what happens when you put two Taurus’s in one room. But there is still no one whose opinion I value more. Every argument needs no winner or loser only solutions

If you are the same, then there are no winners? My husband and I also had our share, but we were opposites, and he spoiled me when he was wrong. Thank you for sharing this lovely poem. May you and Mrs. B have a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. Hugs my friend.

Well written and wisely said, Jerry. We, too, have had some doozies over the year. We're both Aquarians, and as such our positives can become negatives in terms of our relationship. We're both stubborn, creative, energetic but also impulsive and free spirited meaning that we don't like someone interfering with our free spirits. Mind boggling, sometimes. Eventually, like you we learned it's not about winning or losing...it's about compromise and letting go of small stuff. enjoyed your evening!

Thanks, Sara. One thing I can say is no matter how bad the argument, we never go to bed angry.

A verse of wisdom Terry love your last three lines. We all have the old ding dong, who doesn't? but as you say still holding hands even if you're in disagreement is a sign of an excellent marriage. Enjoy your weekend. Tom

Thank you Tom. We've managed to make it 48 years so I don't think there is too much left that we can argue about anymore.
