The Ultimate Bond
I have lived a pretty long life
Compared to most I could say
It is not something that I brag about
It is just something I do living day to day
I have loved more than once or twice
And had my heart broken a time or two
But honestly I can say with all the truth I own
I have never in all my life met someone like you
Your touch brought to me a depth of emotion
Henceforth not realized or known to me
A new understanding of devotion and love
The ultimate bonding of my soul to thee
In sickness and health, till death us do part
Also takes on new meaning my love
Joined together and forming this bond
Our love sealed forever by God up above
