The Ullapara Station
Nineteen years passed by
Kismet met again in Ullapara, a new
Nineteen years before
Roshna Begum, stood there, ahead, all of them, upfront.
Entropy a storm, a kindled Maugham, lit the latitude, brainstorm
Uplifted a passion, yearning for long gone, indifference built a world
Due diligence mind, due respect, mother tongue, just blossomed a lotus
A pair of eyes, only remained in the world, as reticent lit above, indus
Throughout nineteen years
Roshna Begum was the gemstone in my darkened hurt
Nineteen years after
Roshna Begum, a visitor there, met on a sudden, there
Hard to trace back all these memories, speak about those eyes, salient!
Her own husband, son and daughter’s boon, she was an overwhelmed joy!
She was a smiling face, gazed ,as she did before
“You forgot to ask , where about , all these, all oblivious ones!”
A fatty , happy , one, glowing pairs of diva, diamond studs
Is it true, Roshna Begum, so? Must be an error! Must be a mistake!
“How many kids do you have?”
Roshna Begum spoke, as if a puddle of sweat took her, there
She said, “you said, not married, till today, and so…”
The glitter and the spectrum, a sip and then Roshna Begum is gone!
In Ullapara, Raushan Ara is defeated by the superlative, among!
Lost we all, left our dreams , there in Ullapara, where life dreamt, lifelong!
