Notes About The Poem

The Ugliness of Reincarnation

And if there’s nothing left to come back to ... shall we wander the aimless wasteland as ghosts along with the other extinctic creatures. A barren planet of our making: literally, Hell on Earth. So, let us pray the Lord’s prayer for a little intervention. A little “on Earth as it is in Heaven.” would be nice. It’s been a while.

Dear Benjamin, I enjoyed your set of reincarnation poems. I’m so glad I came over to read this companion piece to The Beauty of Reincarnation. The light hearted touch softens the profound message so it’s easier to take (like a spoonful of sugar) but it doesn’t dampen its potency. Simply stunning in its meaningful message delivered so poetically. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan
