The Turn of a Card

The turn of a card, 
the power it brings.
A new point in life
You’ll cry or sing

Amazed every time
truth is confirmed
The thoughts I say
minds concerned

How? I don’t know
I just know to be true
Wanting it in life
Now I’m over due

Gifted? Or a curse?
Never turned it away
Its comfort to many
Giving light every day

The turn of a card
Cuts like a knife
Never gives insight
Into my very own life!
