The Truth Utters a Verdict

slide me into a flight suit
shoot me somersaulting
to the stars as I cushion
in ether, to wait,
a solitary orb
dimming

spiked with steel
Fates hand took hold,
she the keeper of answers
secretly and slowly,
spun the arms of time
and found the key
to a treasure

we thought,

we had been patient
until Science and Religion
made a pact with fate

my Pandora’s box is opening
and I may just shoot to the stars

Pandora--the ills of the earth, seems to have been released. enjoyed the work today. makes me think of the movie where they are in space and can't get back to earth. and are just drifting with out help.
