The Truth Shall Set Us Free
One day, one day the truth shall set us free
Those cunningly told lies will be revealed
Men’s scarred characters shall be unveiled
It will be brought to the surface for all to hear and see.
Night’s darkness will give way to day’s light
It will shine brightly once again, surely
To those dark rooms, corners and that alley
As all unanswered questions be put right.
Those who cried bitter tears in vain
Who were continuously tortured
Left to die, forgotten and ignored
Will be uplifted from their endless pain.
Those who once walked with a yoke of shame
Will walk with their heads held up high and tall
And their bent backs put upright, free from fall
As their slandered characters gets a new name.
Winter’s coldness will finally be proceeded by summer’s warmth
To unfreeze those endless disappointments and confusion
Liberate slavery hands of man chained in misperception
And their neglected cries, cried from their depth.
What was deceivingly known to man, as is
Will be disclosed as otherwise
As reality sprouts out and rise
To yield pure facts in splendid bliss.
