The Truth
No more weakness no more tears
I am shedding my disguise
A lion prowls beneath my skin
With courage in it's eyes
My heart and soul I gave away
Until naught but dust remains
I gave to those who didn't care
They paid me back with pain
They thought of me as weak
They couldn't be more wrong
Hear my roar see my claws
And know that I am strong
Strong enough to face you
Though you cower like a dog
Strong enough to lose you
While you hide amongst the fog
You have torn my life apart
Destroyed all my hope
While you keep getting bitter
I'll keep holding to my rope
I'll climb above this waste
You'll wallow in your pride
In the clouds I'll sing
While you bow your head and cry
