The Truth

The Truth The simple tears that fell from his face, were only just to slow down my pace. As I walked away I started to cry, I couldn't help but wonder why he lied. Now he pushed me away, simply says 'good-bye', As I just look at him and let out my sigh. I wonder what could have been, but holding it in. Not telling anyone my true feelings for him, my heart tells me one thing, my brain just another. But I finally realized he could never be my lover.
