The Truth

When the ones you thought you knew
wither away like worn out shoes
right before your eyes they become
the ones you despise
and your the one left feeling victimized
and you can't even look them in the eye
anymore. Their the ones you thought
would never wound your heart.
But here they come with the dagger
and right at that moment you
realize you guys have nothing in
common anymore.
