The Truth

No challenge man makes
Is a challenge unto God
For His might prevails
His light shines eternal
Let our eyes remain open
To see the truth of the tests
For they are just obstacles
On the road we are to travel
As we venture forward
To the light, within the light
Escaping darkness of the depths
And finally reaching our destination
We will be greeted with embrace
As the hug and smile will speak
To us, of our success at tackling
The obstacles set forth to teach

Look back upon the obstacles and smile
Knowing of their importance and role
In the fulfillment of a promise made
So long ago, yet kept today
