The Trouble With Education
Too much of it
has a tendency
to produce P. A. S.*
Once you know everything,
there’s no excitement
to be had
in any direction.
Learning something new
is exhilarating,
pops my cork.
An invigorating day happens
when I can write
new information
on the R. A. M.**
of my brain.
Oh, how I pity those
who simply have
nothing else to learn.
