I fully understand, having myself felt that same way many times. Just know that your poetry is real, is perfectly fine as you present it. It is you. Those that criticize most often do so with malice and a desire to limit the appeal of the the poet they target. Basic human nature at play. Dark, devious and selfish to the nth degree, imho. Hello again David, we are a special group! It takes some inner transformation to validate yourself. I looked at some of my early, old poetry that is quite good with no comments at all. I don't know why I kept going. You must comment a Lot to get others to read you. From what I hear, the attitude is. IF YOU DON'T READ ME, I DON'T READ.YOU. Iused th spend 13 hours a day commenting. My eyes can no longer take it. I used to be number 3 on the community board.Cannot do anymore! I don't like this limitation.did you come here for COMNENTS. Trophies OR to write poetry.i know you are a knockout poet All The Time...not to be a hit with a masterpiece and wow, people.yuk. Do you think the Bard needed the OK on each poem!
