The Tree Message
I was suddenly surrounded
By the trees in the forest
Each one out talking
The other
Anxious, also angry about
The forest's destruction
They're cutting down all
The trees for the sake
Of progress, and also
Lives and sanctuaries
Being destroyed like the
Birds, animals and even the trees
Leaving them homeless and afraid
With nowhere to go
