The Traveller

The traveller's morning starts early
With crisp and clear intent
Way before the sun is shaken
Both be with the birds awake

The traveller's plan stays open
No clear direction can be set
Each day will pass more slowly
With every moment savoured

The traveller's journey is not counted
It is not distance that ascertains
The mindset is of more importance
Than the miles covered or claimed

The traveller's heart is willing
To all things, people and ways
Behind is left misconception
Replaced with a love of each place

The traveller's evening ends later
Many thought to log, to record
As a day traveller spends travelling
Is a day spent never to forget
