The Travails of a Sojourner
The burden of unfinished tasks,
The weight of unfulfilled ambitions,
The constant shifting of options,
The frustration of diligent hands.
The instability of the mind,
The vagueness of thoughts,
The gloom of the day,
The dereliction of duties.
The sneer of monsters,
The laughter of the ill-intentioned,
The jaggedness of the journey,
The drowning of hope.
The gentle rustle at twilight,
The surge of inspiration,
The quest for a new path,
The discovery of a fresh direction.
