The Trail of a Raindrop

Sudden rain brought me under your umbrella for the first time. For the first time you were so close to me with your fragrance. The umbrella was not big enough to cover both of us. A raindrop was trickling down your forehead. I was following it's trail without listening to you. Your words couldn't touch me like the raindrops falling outside. The trail of that raindrop uncovers some secrets for me, your eyes were bluer than I thought and your dimples deeper. I discovered a beauty spot below your left ear lobe. Today,I know about all your beauty spots.... But still now in a rainy day I want to walk with you under the same umbrella. **************************

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

a very nice one Kash. Look up my poem called 'remember that downpour,' that has similar thought content. Well done.

This is romantic and intimate, Kash. Every new rain reminds you of that brief encounter and that scent and those facial features. Lovely poetry, enjoyed this very much.

I too am amazed how anyone could read this piece and not comment. Perhaps the world for a moment went temporarily blind. This piece caused me to sigh. Blessings poet.
