The Town Where I Live
In this town, I've lived for 30 years
having been brought up down Ayrshire way
but meeting Christine took me away
to Renfrew where I'd for rest of life stay
It's a small town just like any other
being a royal burgh it's history's long
as it's never to be my home town
where one's born and bred is your song
Although I've said what I've just said
this town is ideally in the right place
so much good access down to the coast
as well as great transport links which is ace
Having large shopping centre on its doorstep
wherein history Renfrew Castle sat there
so that's the town where I do live
nothing great but has folk who do care
