The Torrent

Ever flowing
Over-bowling
Borne along,
     Again,
By class-five rapids,
A cataract thro’ jagged crags

There is danger here
Out of (my) control
Guided by Peace
Protected by Joy
     Himself
The mighty rush of God’s
Poured-out, turbulent love
