The Tongue

The tongue is an intriguing thing!
It has more power than many realize.
It can divide the heavens and bring on the fury of hell. 
It can ruin someone's life! 

The tongue is a peculiar thing! 
It is a weapon and yet it is a tool. 
It can never be tamed without the power of the King of Heaven and that's Jehovah Elohim!

The tongue is a wise thing! 
Of course, if you want to display any wisdom at all. 
It can bring lives into order and it can destroy someone with a single spoken thought!

Proverbs 21:23 says: "WHOSO KEEPETH HIS MOUTH AND HIS TONGUE KEEPETH HIS SOUL FROM TROUBLES." Wise words my friend keep it up. Smiles and Hugs, JB Been offline for awhile Good to be back

Michelle Mac Donald June 8, 2017 at 10:11 AM This is true, Gwendolen, but at times might it not be one's only defense? One can take only so much, until a dam bursts. To say nothing, is it not like giving the green light? Endless days, weeks, months of not talking, sitting on the chair like a ventriloquist's dummy and it always worsens. We have all been defiled, causing rifts between those whom I love and care for most.
