The Toilet's Meow

sittin' on the toilet bowl,
pinchin' off a log;
tryin' my best to pen a poem,
my mind's a funky fog!

in walks our stupid cat,
rubbin' against my leg;
always meowin' for something to eat,
never too proud to beg!

in walks another,
with the same malicious approach;
pacin' the floor in front of me,
like a nervous football coach!

another one joins the duo,
i now have an audience of three;
six lil' eyes a glarin',
burnin' a hole through me!

"okay, okay, i'll feed ya'll!",
a moral victory i suppose;
today is only the beginning,
tomorrow, the door stays closed!

this is a very funny and well worded poem, I'm glad my husband walked by me and said "the toilets meow, what the heck is that!" it was a good read.
