The Time Stops

Time froze for a second, But life didn't come to an end. People just stopped at their places, Capturing their moments was me Before time races. Mom stopped with a sudden jerk, Who could not continue with her unending household work. Dad was surrounded by a bunch of papers, Who had witnessed all of life's flavours and favours. My little brother held his toy over his head, For whom life was an untangled thread. The dog ceased its bark, And was looking cluelessly in the dark. The poor got a break from their worries, As time was in no hurry. The rich still had an expression of displeasure, Who had jewels to no measure, But still lacked "The happiness treasure". The clocked ticked back, Everybody were back on their track. The picture had its own place in my brain, Of people sitting in life's train.
