The Time I'Ve Spent Out There

I have spent a lifetime out there as if i had no fear.
Indulging in the sudden stare.
The unavoidable long stare, not to be confused with a leer.
I have spent lifetime out there.
Living a life most would not dare, too afraid to tear the veneer.
The unavoidable long stare.
Like a never ending nightmare, it just goes on and on for years.
I have spent a lifetime out there.
There is truth to what it bares, that makes me feel completely *****.
The unavoidable long stare.
Bringing my feelings out to be snared, just like a face in a mirror.
I have spent a lifetime out there with that unavoidable long stare.
