The Time Has Come
The time has come to forsake folly
To close the door on strands of memory
To bid farewell to fickle friendship
And cast away the silly stone
This time I am the eagle in the sky alone
No word of regret upon my lip
I am the tempered steel, stronger for the fire
More beautiful for desire
And nothing can go awry
In the bosom of love all works good
I work for nothing then
The time has come to forsake folly
Sing great horizon, I forgave your folly
Sing desert mirage you are only memory
This steel aint nothing yet
But whatsoever it becomes will be hard
As light pressing on my face
Through the pores of fractal glass.
The time has come and folly is no more
