The Time Between

Golden grace,
Mirror and shoeshine,
Down at dawn,
Casting shadows,
Like hands tick-tocking,
Tick–tocking,
Tick-tick-tocking,
Bells,
Like bombs wait,
Wait waiting,
Wait wait waiting,
In corners of vans,
And corners of corners,
And corners,
And corners of shadows,
Tick-tick-tick-tocking,
Up at dusk,
Melting skies,
Honey gazed,
Honey glazed,
Honey grazed,
Cloud shatters,
Moon crash,
Broken midnight.
