Time moves on as on this earth men live and die each day Humanity wallows in wretchedness Men steal, lie, kill plunder one another People deceive each other - no end to pain, suffering, agony Yet, wretched life or not Life must go on

So true!!! I love how you captured human pain and suffering as a continuous cycle augmented by people themselves. that phrase "life must go on" is what we tell each other to turn a blind eye on all that's happening around us: war, hunger etc. Love this emotive poem :) - Y.L Ndlovu
