The Throne of Brutality
Human beings respect nothing but violence,
It reigns like a harsh queen at the center of public squares,
brandished as a law carved into the stone of centuries.
The fist speaks before thought,
impact precedes reason,
and brute force becomes the official language.
From childhood, hearts learn this severe cult;
domination is taught as an exact science,
fear is glorified, disguised as authority.
He who strikes imposes his narrative,
he who threatens earns attention,
while gentleness is relegated
to the rank of mocked weakness.
The street applauds hardness,
palaces organize it,
screens repeat it to saturation.
The world is built on constraint,
on chains visible or disguised,
on a hierarchy of blows delivered.
History itself is written with blades,
with cannons, with bodies hurled against the ground.
Authority merges with brutality,
respect merges with fear.
The outstretched hand is broken,
the calm heart is lost in the clamor.
Hearts close to survive,
faces harden to endure.
The conqueror is applauded,
the patient artisan forgotten.
One bows before the skillful tyrant,
and looks away from the discreetly just.
Blood marks borders,
pain founds empires.
Even laws carry invisible weapons,
even rules threaten behind their lines.
Sanction replaces understanding,
punishment supplants listening.
Fear becomes social fuel,
a carefully maintained engine.
In this brutal theater,
the human being learns to clench their teeth,
to strike before being struck,
to armor themselves against others.
Tenderness hides,
empathy grows scarce,
trust crumbles.
Violence is passed down like a heavy inheritance,
from generation to generation,
in gestures, in harsh words,
in glances laden with threat.
It slips into homes,
into schools,
into air-conditioned offices.
Even love becomes contaminated,
confusing passion with possession,
confusing intensity with pain.
One demands, controls, dominates,
believing this is loving more fiercely.
Force becomes the ultimate argument,
as if nothing else could convince.
Intelligence yields to intimidation,
wisdom retreats before pressure.
Calm is despised,
patience ridiculed.
And humanity wonders at its wars,
wonders at its crowded prisons,
wonders at its open wounds.
It feigns surprise
at what it cultivates with diligence.
Cities rise on sacrifices,
wealth on crushing others.
The powerful brandish the law of the strongest
as a natural truth.
Domination becomes normality,
oppression routine.
