The Thought of Missing You

As I walk with an air of sadness Down the stone cobble paths I've walked before Only now, as I am alone, in the moonlight Without your tender hand for warmth Something new has begun today Although I can't seem to recall the word This feeling my heart when you're not with me I know our love's sparked embers in the earth How come I can still call to mind your lips on my own Why do I feel as though a piece of me is missing Its as though you are right here beside me, guiding me Even though I know...those times have passed

Gorgeous, yet writhing in its sad emotions. A deeply touching end. Great job and nice to meet you, Emily!
