The Thirst~

The thirst consumes me
Blocking out my thoughts
I cannot think
What was I doing again?
Where was I going?
Damn I need a drink!
Liquor store here I come…
Searching the car for change
The thirst takes over
Driven by rage, I search
Quarter by quarter my thirst grows stronger
Finally, I have enough!
Walking into the store
feeling like a hero,
People calling out my name,
I am a hero!
Transaction finished,
I am a god,
Drunk with passion,
I twist off the cap.
