The Thin Gold Thread

out of no where a thin gold thread connects to me. fear stabs from all directions I cannot escape it's penetration. concrete swirls the pit of my stomach barbed wire pushed through my veins. a black bag tied over my head in the mirror I exist no more. struggling in brown water sinking deeper and deeper desperate for something firm. angry voices scream louder and louder what do they want? my strength used up the thread ties me to sanity why won't it break and let me go under.
