The Thin Blue Line
The dark night piercing scream
The torch light on the street
The hunt runs through the night
Your duty means no rest tonight!
So many human states of mind
So many fears prey in their lives.
Climb the fence, go through the stream.
Closer to the crime scene!
Ignore the cold, ignore the rain.
Make damn sure the victim’s suffering isn’t in vein. Guard her till the medics come. He won’t get far now he’s on the run!
For they find the teller of the lies, the stealer of the jewels. They stand in front of the killer with the knife, they’d do this for me and you.
Respect the thin blue line, one day or in the fear of your darkest night you may need them by your side.
