The Testimony of Being Free

My thoughts are misplaced

There is something to be learned when the fire in me shakes

I cut through all what tried to conform me

If I could fly, I would soar like an eagle and be free

Sometimes being free is all I need

At night I gasp for air, it’s hard for me to breathe

My fears and old memories haunt me

I don’t look back; I move forward so does my spirit

Nothing is for the taken not unless im happy with me

I get sucked into my thoughts, push out things that use to matter

I shed no more tears and handle all my fears

There are no more fears or regrets inside of me because that door is forever closed
