Although it may be a little enigmatic, this poem deals with the practice of plagiarism. It was inspired by a comment. Stealing another persons thoughts is a crime regardless, However, though you may steal their work, they will continue on. "on through the night it blows"...
He mines gold's shine by candlelight
Hoarding wealth and folly
Plundering spoils from toils delight
Now bathed in melancholy
But warm winds wail on excited gale
Relentlessly unencumbered
Sequestered songs of nightingale
Serenading children's slumber
Raging tempest respects not glee
Demesne of mortal souls
Uprooting he and camphor tree
On through the night it blows
