The Telling of the Tale
I really think you should have told,
Now mind you,
I'm not one to scold.
Howsomever,
Look at what has been done,
And you're not having any fun.
I know when you were both quite small,
The world looked big, and everyone was tall.
Didn't you see how not alike you two would be?
No,
I suppose not,
When fin and tail both swim in the same circle,
Never mind the end.
Now what is it you want me to do?
No!
I can't change you.
Harriet a frog you will always be.
From now to eternity.
Howsomever,
I spoke to Albert just today.
It seemed he was just as sad as you,
And didn't know what to do.
Perhaps I can help.
Neither one of you can change,
Or should.
Maybe in this case we can let you
Be as you are.
Love is not about changing the other person
All about.
