Notes About The Poem

The Teflon Queen

The Teflon Queen

That Hillary Clinton- our own Teflon Queen-
or others might say- just a harsh 'queen of mean'?
Mistakes and misdeeds disappear quite unseen
by blinded supporters who think she's pristine.

Whitewater's long scandal was never resolved-
and Travelgate, Filegate- two more never solved.
With Teflon's smooth coating, so thick, undissolved-
she slipped right on by- that she was not involved.

Along with Vince Foster- we add forty-five
who met their sad death, possibly did contrive-
for each had a tie to the Clinton 'beehive'.
Go search out the Web for the facts that survive.

Ambassador killed, with the details opaque-
upsetting it was when this sad news did break.
Benghazi, her nightmare- not her piece of cake!
Her answer- "What difference now does it make?"

Ignoring Chris Stevens' "please help" all along,
so boring to her- that annoying singsong.
She turned a blind eye! But slick Teflon stayed strong.
And then, once again, she slid out of a wrong.

And, what of those missing emails- such a shame!
It was a no brainer- she should take the blame.
Her server was wiped- with a cloth- she did claim!
"She's innocent"- followers blindly proclaim!

None other than power and glory- her needs,
so evident in her self-gaining, masked deeds.
The Clinton Foundation grows with stealthy seeds
of donors repaid for cloaked greedy misdeeds.

She slipped through the cracks for unethical acts,
but still to this day, blames all others with facts
for losing her throne- from the truth, she distracts.
To stop Teflon Queen, voters' choice now impacts.

“What difference now does it make” - she needs to aim that at herself after losing the presidency.
