The Teachers

He spent life in struggle,
the jihad of His life.

Jihad is not a holy war.
Jihad is struggle within each person.

He wanted to bring peace to a people.
His struggle was against greed,
injustice and arrogance.
He died for the effort.

He was Muhammad, Blessed be His name.
A prophet for all time
in the sequence of a Plan
that began with Abraham
and has yet to see an end.

Each in succession,
for a place and time and true,
each from the Source of Love
sent to me and you.

Keep an open mind
to all Teachers here on earth.

There is no name above another,
all are here to give you birth
into a life of spirit
progressing without strife,
as all Teachers are really but One
who returns through cycles of life.
