The tea has already spilled

You said You understood Why I wanted to end it And I said I was glad But suddenly I'm not I guess I hoped that you'd fight for us a little more Though I have no right to ask that Seeing as I made the decision I regret it Like you regret drinking tea too quickly On a snowy day Burning the roof of your mouth When all you wanted Was soft warmth But I needed that tea To keep me from getting sick And in my mind Somewhere in my mind where I won't reach I want to go back And tell you it was a joke It was a misunderstanding Just something that'd make you want me back The tea has already spilled And I can't clean it up now
